Fell extremely hot today? Then escape from city to Lion’s Head Mountain, proving to be a clever decision.

熱的時候，爬山去！

Driving to nearly 2 hours from Taichung City, we arrived at visitor center, greeted by white cloud-liked flowers decorating on green hill. Getting useful map depicting detail Trail systems of Lion’s Head Mountain Visitor Center in English and great advices from staffs of visitor center, we planted out trip as following:

Why did I arrange our trip in this way? First of all, I chose to climb up through smooth path paved with white flowers of You Tong or, if lucky enough, where these flowers elegantly fall and danced with breezes. Plus, these were special benefits only happening in April and May. Secondly, climb down quickly through rather steep hills. And mostly, we took chances to hike trails as many and paths as possible. We were greedy (XD) to enjoy the nature.

理由：桐花桐花桐花還有五月桐花開了～～～當然還有奇妙的寺院廟宇囉。

From Tengping Trail to Private residence spot of Liouliao Trail, it was awesomely beautiful. Meandering paths leaded through dense forests thriving with various unknown flora and a running stream attracting us to take off shoes for soaking in cool water. In the end of April, towering You Tong trees impressed us with cloud-liked flowers blooming on branches, slowly falling flowers like rain or snow (Let you choose when you experience it), and fallen flowers spreading on the grounds seems as precious white carpet welcoming super guests—me and my sister. Oh~~where are flash lights? Just walk through with smiles and awes, pretending we were Queens.

美到呼吸停止了，桐花灑地成白色地毯，輕輕踩過宛如女王… …當風吹花落，又像雲又像雨也像白雪… …

We held competitions for the best natural carpet in 2010. Here were competitors—

No. 1: millions of snow white flowers spreading on emerald ground paving withered leaves in deep red or yellow brown

No. 2: on rocks covering fresh green ferns dotted with white flowers

No. 3: lines of white flowers flowing with green stream or several ones making circles by whirlpools beside rocks

The winner is… …every one. Each got its charming, making examiner in dilemma so why not place everyone in the first praise? I though the nature showed his agreement by creating cozy breeze blowing white flowers falling down like romantic rain around us for at least 5 minutes. Interestingly, if we hadn’t missed our way to Shihshan Historical Trail and visit Tea Pavilion Trail, we would have not appreciated this LUCKY 5 minutes.

因為我們的迷路，迷路到茶亭步道，人煙渺渺景致更美，桐花是完整的灑落地上阿～

After being touched by beauty of white, sadly, we got lost. Suddenly, a dog popped out from somewhere in forest and leaded us to Shihshan Historical Trail through wild paths running through dense sky-reaching thick woods and precipice cliffs on one side. It seemed it knew what we were heading for and leaded us through each fork to right direction. Feeling wonderful, we even asked it for leading us to the drinking water. And it did magically. We couldn’t help but wonder whether it was Gods of the nature. As we know, put the word—“dog” upside down and you can get the word—GOD. Whatever, we were glad to have it as accompany in adventuring through mysterious forests. Thank you with our best sincere!

正當我們為奇怪的指標不知所措的時候，可愛狗狗成了我們的救星，牠真的是在帶路喔，會在各岔路口停再正確的方向等我們，帶我們穿越荒野森林步道，接上了獅山古道。
