YA~~~Sunshine, wide blue sky, pleasing ocean, melody of waves and comfortable breeze… …After all, Green Island is named after its nature not its dark history. Time to explore secret beach!

Let me share you each attraction and my discoveries one by one. Start from harbor zone and circle the island counterclockwise.

The First Stop, Shihlang Diving Area

Snorkelers and divers can enjoy the ocean all year round in Green Island, which is rare and precious in diving world. They set two spots as sanctuaries for snorkelers—one is Shihlang Diving Area in southwestern island while the other Chaikou Diving Area in northern part. As long as the condition of weather is not as worse as typhoon, there must be one suitable for snorkeling. Toss to the ideas of two sanctuaries! Honor them!

石朗，寬闊潮間帶還有無敵寬闊海景，阿～暢快拉！

In Shihlang, a broad tidy zone facing Pacific Ocean attracted me to go down. Strolling long dike paving through the zone, I surprised to find little crabs and strange coral reefs as a child. Gave myself 10 minutes to sit here with my ocean.

The second Stop, Dabaisha Diving Area

Dabaisha means wide ranges of pure white sandy beach. What does beach mean for me? Lie down to watch clouds floating through the azure while songs of waves massage my ears. If time is not concerned, a snap is wonderful. Or play with waves and chase each other for fun. And there was indeed a space sandy beach to play in. Soft sand contains amazement such as beautiful pieces of shells or partial seaweeds. I grasped a hand of sands and checked my lucks. I personally recommended it is a reading spot especially for novels or serious topics because of the infinite ocean relaxing you.

The Third Stop, Zihping

If you don’t feel good about screaming scooters marching through, consider quiet Ziping with unknown pretty shallow lagoon at the end of trail. Walk down from entrance and follow wooden path to the end. Here you are—a playground for family! Near rugged beach, large lagoon is filled by seawater with several screen-shaped rocks dotted inside. The level of water is so shallow that even a 5-year child can have fun. And most tourists seem no interest in going down to discover this tranquil lagoon. So we could enjoy natural beauty in private. Ya… good…
