It is a weird thing—human being cannot live in ocean unless you are equipped. Maybe our ancestors preferred solid land to flowing undersea world so made choice when they had to. So the seawater is too salty for us to swallow. The wave makes some of us feel dizzy and then prepare to throw up. But nothing can stop us from snorkeling!

人類，與海不合這件事，讓我在綠島思考勒。為什麼呢…?

With experience of snorkeling in Lanyu, we wore swimming suit inside our clothing so get rid of poor facilities in snorkeling store. Then coach gave us suitable neoprene, mask and plastic shoes. After quickly changing, we rode to Caikou(柴口) or Shihlang(石朗). Our lucky spot was Shihlang.

當初規劃綠島潛水的人非常有遠見，一個東北一個西南，吹什麼風都不影響浮潛的快樂，讓我想好好找他聊聊。這次我們的緣分都在石朗。

Green Island is really a wonderland of snorkeling. Take Shihlang for example, it gets a broad flat tidy zone to walk through and the altitude suddenly drops down to a flat ground around 10 meters below the sea level. The ground down there becomes an ideal nurturing paradise for coral reefs and schools of tropical fishes. And good news for snorkelers.

平坦潮間帶一下去後，高度馬上下降到十米左右，珊瑚礁快樂成長熱帶魚悠遊的地方，優勢優勢都在大喊：浮潛！

It was a sunny day.

I always love sunshine brightening this world, especially undersea world. The golden light waved with waves, shaping like dancing silk curtain covering wide ranges of coral reefs and lots of splendid tropical fishes freely swimming through. Led by coach, my friend and I appreciate various coral reefs—some are like thousands of fingers massaging the Clown fishes, some like thin branches spouting in spring time, some like gain fans with beautiful carvings. Those artworks color blue world as a wonderful setting and offer platform as well to active and charming actors and actress—tropical fishes.

在我們的心中，綠島，瞬間打敗蘭嶼！陽光灑下帷幕，妝點海裡各色的珊瑚，魚群的色彩更鮮豔圖騰更多元，有流線型帶銀色有斑馬紋帶著嘟嘟嘴有多彩比彩虹更亮麗的有魚鰭帶個蝴蝶結的有好大好大的魚(想像”龍貓”裡的小妹形容大榕樹的感覺！)好大耶！！(興奮中) 外加教練的秘密武器，魚群包圍幸福的我們壓～～

As we know, tips allow you to experience more surprise and provide more convenience. Our coach brought his secret weapon—XXXXX(Let the secret in secret.) attracted hundreds of tropical fishes swimming around us, following us and even chasing us! It indeed expanded my horizon a lot-- I have never been so closed to numerous beautiful fishes before! Their color was so bright to catch my eyes easily. Some were so elegant like princesses having picnics in 18 century. Some were cute with bowknot-shaped patterns in fishtail. Some were as long as my arm, a shock to us! Some were colorful than rainbows on the sky. And more were beyond description, so were our happiness. If a cultural tour in National Palace Museum inspired me the greatness of Chinese, then undersea adventure impressed me how great, creative and beautiful the mind of the nature, if exit, is.

趴在海面上，自然漂浮，給教練拉著去東去西，輕鬆愜意，就怕太久頭暈壓～果然一個小時後，投降，很捨不得，這麼漂亮的世界阿。

Sadly, human being cannot stay in salty waves as much as we like. Gradually, we started to feel chilly and dizzy. Times up and wave to my darling undersea world.

Travel tips:

1.     Wear swimming suite at accommodation before heading to snorkeling. You may not be happy to change your swimming suit in poor facilities at snorkeling store.

2.     After snorkeling, you can take off snorkeling suit and have a comfortable shower in your accommodation. Bring coat with you to cover yourself from a bit coolness during way to your sweet accommodation.

旅行秘訣：

1.      在住宿點換好泳裝再去浮潛店換裝，因為，你會慶幸我告訴你這件事。

2.      卸裝後，披上外套，奔回住宿清洗囉。
